A sunsrise to remember
We rose early to a beautiful sunrise over Ile Fourchue. We had coffee and breakfast on deck while we talked about the sail ahead. John and Joan didn't have any ocean experience when they arrived on the boat in St. Martin. Now on the morning of their sixth day of their advanced cruising course they are very comfortable with handling the boat on their own. John says he's looking forward to our overnight sail in three days time. Joan has already charted the next three legs of our journey. John said they decided to take the advance course as they are planning on taking their boat from the Great Lakes to the Bahamas when Joan retires. I think they are ready now. I might be hard to get them off the boat!
